  Always been great catering for our Scout groups for caving weekends. Providing breakfasts and evening meals to large groups by arrangement. My kids also loved the pub dog, who in turn loved the fuss.

  Limited menu as a Sunday. Went for the beef burger and chips. Wife had the same and asked for hers to hers cooked well done. Was told 'they all come out the same'. That should have rung alarm bells . Food arrived quickly and clear so see why . Burger was of the frozen variety served in a toasted bun and chips were frozen fries. I ate it as was hungry but wife's has gone to the dog, and I almost feel sorry giving it to him . Disappointed as hoped that a local pub, not part of a chain, could produce some fresh food. Can only think that batch of great reviews from 4 years ago were under different management or different kitchen team.
